Struggling to grasp the game immediately, I tended to just take part as a gunner in bombing raids at night and try and soak up some atmosphere that I found lacking whenever I tried to be a fighter pilot and found myself plummeting to Earth with an another death inducing stall. What put me off was the 600 controls the games required and not much documentation about what ones need to be configured. I bought a Cyborg Evo joystick for my flight sim purposes but never really given it a good test. The thing is although I wanted to get into them, I never really did. I already own IL-2 Forgotten Battles, + Aces Expansion + Pacific Fighters, all of which I picked up cheaply from various places. I've been pondering about whether I should get 1946 from this site for some time, and as it's on offer, I'm tempted by it again.
